LCJ Pictures LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates Massacre Video TV, a subscription streaming service for horror films, and an affiliate referral program. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit our website, create an account, subscribe, apply to become an affiliate, or join our launch waitlist.

This policy applies to information collected through our public website and member areas. It does not apply to third-party websites or services that we do not control.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of the Service, and limited technical information needed to operate the Service.

Account & profile information

Name and email address
Password (stored in hashed form; we never store plain-text passwords)
Optional phone number
Optional billing and shipping addresses

Subscription & payment information

Subscription plan, status, and billing period dates
Payment processor customer and subscription identifiers (for purchases made on our website)
Payment card and billing details are collected and processed by our payment processor; we do not store full payment card numbers

Affiliate program information

Application details — name, email, optional website, social media platforms, handles or URLs, stated follower counts, and your application message
Affiliate account status, referral code, and dashboard statistics (clicks, signups, conversions, commissions, and payouts)
Referral activity — landing pages visited via your link and timestamps of referral clicks
Payout onboarding status with our third-party payout provider (we do not store your full banking details)
If you are referred by an affiliate, we may store which affiliate referred you when you register or subscribe

Roku & connected-TV information

If you use our Roku app and subscribe through Roku Pay, we receive limited information needed to activate and maintain your membership. Roku, Inc. acts as the merchant for those purchases and handles your payment details directly.

Roku Pay transaction identifiers and the purchased product code
Subscription status and expiration date returned by Roku when we validate a purchase
The device platform you are streaming from (e.g., that a request originates from a Roku device)
We do not receive or store your Roku payment card details, Roku account password, or Roku login credentials

Viewing activity

Watch progress, watched duration, completion status, and last-watched timestamps for titles you stream
Aggregated watch statistics shown in your account (e.g., total watch time)

Waitlist & communications

Email address when you join our launch waitlist
Email verification and password-reset activity

Technical & authentication data

Authentication tokens stored in your browser so you remain signed in
Session and security cookies used for administration and secure API operations
Referral attribution cookies or local storage when you visit through an affiliate link (with your consent)
First-party page visit analytics — anonymous visitor ID, pages viewed, referrer host, UTM campaign parameters, device type, browser, and approximate country (with your consent)
Cookie consent preferences — a cookie that remembers your storage choices
Standard server and infrastructure logs maintained by our hosting providers (which may include IP address and request metadata)

3. How We Use Your Information

Process payments and manage subscriptions through our payment processor (web) or Roku Pay (Roku app)
Validate Roku Pay purchases with Roku and activate or refresh memberships purchased on Roku

Track watch progress and continue-watching features
Respond to support requests and enforce our Terms of Service

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under California law.

Managing storage

Use Cookie preferences in the site footer to update your choices. You can also clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Clearing authentication storage will sign you out of your account.

If you withdraw consent for a category, we stop using that storage going forward and delete related browser storage where applicable. Data already collected may be retained for a limited period as described in Data Retention.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and fulfill the purposes described in this policy:

Account data — retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward
Subscription records — retained as required for billing, tax, and dispute resolution
Watch history — retained while your account is active to power continue-watching and account features
Affiliate records — application data, referral statistics, and payout history retained while you participate in the program and as required for tax, accounting, and dispute resolution
Waitlist emails — retained until you unsubscribe or we no longer need them for launch communications
Page visit analytics — retained for up to 24 months, then deleted or aggregated
Server logs — retained for a limited period for security and troubleshooting

8. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls, and secure payment handling through our payment processor.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please use a strong, unique password and keep your credentials confidential.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent.

You can update much of your account information directly in your Account settings. You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Account page.

Commercial information — subscription history, affiliate commissions, and product codes purchased (including via Roku)
Internet activity — watch history, progress, and affiliate referral clicks
Inferences — aggregated viewing statistics in your account and affiliate performance metrics

Right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
Right to delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions
Right to correct inaccurate personal information
Right to opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising

Authorized agents

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years of age (COPPA).
